DOG takes precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. NATIONAL RACE TO THE TOP

DEPARTMENT OF GEORGIA WINNERS-2024

Is it my distinct honor and pleasure to announce that we had 2 District Commanders from the Department of Georgia who were winners of the Race To The Top Competition at the American Legion National level.

Gary Ely was a 1st Place Winner in Category III with a 105.67% score.

Robert Russell was a 3rd Place Winner in Category II with a 107.50% score.

Gary will be honored at the National Convention and receive an all expense paid trip to the National Convention and other perks for his 1st place finish.

Robert will receive a monetary award that will be announced in the near future for his 3rd place finish along with other honors.

Congratulations to each of them again for this outstanding accomplishment.

All members of the Department of Georgia should be very proud of them for their hard work, dedication and attention to detail this year in helping to move Georgia forward in our quest to be the best Department in the nation.

You guys “Rock” and thanks to all members in your Posts for helping you achieve this honor.
