Assisting, Advising, and Helping Veterans in the State of Georgia

O.C. Fowler, Post 135, Chatham County Veteran of the Year and USS Savannah, Commissioning Chair and Joe Higgins Commander Post 184 and Chairman of Veterans Council of Chatham County. O.C. presented a plaque and flag flown on USS Savannah on commissioning cruise.
James Putney, Commander Post 500, Mike Ditomasso, Oratorical Chair Post 184 and Madeline Pele, Oratorical winner, Post, District and Area. Commander Putney presented Ms. Pele with her award and standing ovation as encouragement for Oratorical competition next level.

Our new friends at Freddy’s in Loganville presented the commander and several of our officers with a big check today. For them, this check represents a portion of their custard sale profits from their first 30 days of operation, for us this check represents more opportunity to help local veterans in need. Thanks to Freddy’s and to everyone who participated by eating their delicious products!

After coordination from Whit Chappell, Director of Development for Georgia Boys State – Mr. Donald K. Warren, Executive Director of the Harley Langdale Jr. Foundation presents a check for $10,000.00 to Phil Youngblood, Director. Donation is to the Georgia Boys State Program.

Hello all,
We had a very successful District 4 Contest on Tuesday, FEB 9th at The Foundry School. Due to complications with securing a location appropriate for the Contest we want to thank The Foundry School and Christy McCully for the gracious offer to hold our District 4 Contest at their school.

Thank you to Post 50 & District 4 Oratorical Chairman’s entire staff for all their time & effort in making our District 4 contest meaningful to our High School Contestants. Congratulations to 1st Place Winner Zoe Schilke & 2nd Place winner John Hayden Tarpley.

Thank you Post 50 Photographer Ken Benson for all the attached photos.
