The Hotel that the Department of Georgia will be staying in as designated by our National Organization is “The Brown Hotel” The rate for all rooms is $140.00 plus tax (total $164.72) per night. Parking is $26.00 per night for self-parking. You must make reservations yourself by following info on the link below.
Attached is a link for you to use if you want to book a room at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Ky. This is where the American Legion National Convention will be held this year from August 27, 2026, thru September 3, 2026. This Hotel has been assigned to Georgia from National and ALL planning on attending are requested to use this Hotel.
The rate is $140.00 plus taxes (17.66%) = $164.82 total per night for all rooms. The first night will be taken from your account when you register. There is a parking fee, and again, the Hotel has offered the American Legion discounted rates. Self-parking is reduced to $26.00 per day. Valet parking is reduced to &32.00 per day. There is also a scheduled free bus service from the Hotel to the Convention Center, which is only a few blocks away.
Further information will be forthcoming concerning Registration, Banquet tickets, Southern Block tickets and other ticket purchases that would be of interest to you while attending the Convention.
This is a special rate for the American Legion and we expect our allocation of rooms to book very fast.
